Public art project for a primary school in Berlin (Obersee-Grundschule, Berlin-Hohenschönhausen) based on 16 compositions of painted and glazed terracotta tiles. The compositions consist of the most commonly used German verbs (according to a current chart list). Additional selection aspects were: the respect for learning and research.
The overall design refers to the existing symmetry of the house. The interventions (four on each floor) take place each at similar locations on both sides of the building. Each tile is hand coloured in one or two colours with assistance of Maria Ondrej, ceramic artist and print maker in Leipzig.
